It’s that time of year! One of the hottest fundraising events of the season is upon us so of course, you know I had to spread the love. African Health Now is the non-profit founded by Nana Eyeson-Akiwowo to provide information and accessibility to sustainable primary health care to women, children and families living across Sub Saharan Africa. On Wednesday, November 1st, the organization will host its annual Gift of Life benefit at New York City’s Sunwest Studios.

Gift of Life 2017 Host, Tai Beauchamp

Hosted by international media personality and style maven Tai Beauchamp, with music provided by legendary dj and hip hop artist D-Nice, the evening will provide a unique opportunity to connect with various industry leaders in media, technology, fashion, entertainment, finance, and development.

The Gift of Life Benefit raises awareness and funds for primary and maternity health care initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa while celebrating the philanthropic, artistic and innovative contributions of Africans and African Americans in the Diaspora. As usual, they are counting on your support to make this year a huge success so click here to get your tickets before they’re gone!

As a New York City storyteller, filmmaker, digital content creator, and PR strategist, Renae Bluitt created "In Her Shoes" to empower and enlighten women committed to realizing their dreams.
