Calling All BK Designers!

Pieces of Brooklyn is holding an open call for all Brooklyn designers to be featured in the store on September 10th for the first ever “Fashion is Brooklyn” gallery exhibit. As part of Fashion Night Out (sponsored by the CFDA and Vogue), “Fashion is Brooklyn” will serve as the kick-off to Fashion Week while celebrating some of BK’s finest past, present, and future designers.

“Fashion is Brooklyn” was created to further secure Brooklyn’s position as the fashion capital among the five boroughs. The event will transform Pieces Boutique into an amazing Brooklyn gallery featuring the borough’s hottest designers and trendsetters. This is where you come in…Pieces is looking for a few innovative designers to make Brooklyn proud. Are you ready to show ’em what you’ve got? Here’s the criteria:

• Designers must have a full collection of at least 8-12 looks.
• Designers must have a full line sheet with pricing as well as a complete package introducing their brand.
• Designers must present quality, professionally finished Fall styles that are appealing to today’s market.
• All submissions will be reviewed by the Pieces of Brooklyn buying team. If you are selected, you will be contacted and provided additional details.

Open Call Dates and Times:

Monday, July 27th: 9a-12p

Monday, August 10th: 9a-12p

Monday, August 17th: 9a-12p

*All submissions must be left overnight for the board’s review and picked up on the following Tuesday between 10a-12a or 7p-8p.
