I don’t know if I can say that I “deserve”, but I would really love to win this prize. I have never been to NY and would use the prize as a getaway for my 33rd birthday coming up in Nov. Since becoming a stay-at-home mom I’ve not really have the chance to celebrate myself. My life centers around my husband, children and maintaining my household. I would use the prize to finally make plans for me. a three-day getaway would certainly be an awesome way to celebrate myself.
Thanks for hosting such an awesome contest!

I deserve to win this contest because I need a moment to unwind. I am a hard working project manager who is preparing to take the project management certification exam next month. In my spare time, I conduct endometriosis and women’s reproductive health seminars, bringing in doctors from the community to present and answers the questions of the women attendance. In addition, these events begin to lay the f

Foundation for a support group for women. I also just launched http://www.voicesofendo.wordpress.com , a website which hopes to give a voice to the various women who are suffering with this disease. I do all of this for one reason: to help women in need. It brings joy to my heart to know a woman doesn’t feel alone anymore. With everything I mentioned, I could use a weekend to relax, regroup after the next seminar (October 14) and celebrate passing the PMP exam! (in Jesus name!!)

Is it even possible to win a three-day at one of the beautiful Marriott hotels? For the last 3 plus years, I have been working full time for a government office that has been asking for beyond the standard 40 hour weeks, full time student (graduated in August) in which I will be officially done with undergrad in December 2012 and will be immediately starting graduate school in January 2013. As to why I deserve the price, I am a broke government employee who is also a student with no extra disposable income – this would probably be my only hotel stay in 2013!

I can be described as a vogue-a-holic by default, a socialite by nature, and a shoe-preneur by trade. I delight in the unexpected, has a tongue in cheek approach to tradition, never wears just anything, miscellaneous is my favorite category, and lastly – is easily spoiled by all things fabulous and swanky.
After business hours and on the weekends, you can find me in my zone — hosting or attending a fashionable event, turning the pages of my collection of fashion and lifestyle magazines to build my social calendar, or designing a stiletto inspired gathering via my mobile shoe bar, “How You Shoe’In?” pronounced in your best Wendy Williams voice. A lover of shoes since my first pair of pink plastic Barbie heels,I still love the instant gratification that shoes provide, and have incorporated shoe themed events incorporating stiletto fitness, shoe themed apparel and accessories, and philanthropy — where shoes are donated to women in need and includes an inspiration note to help remind them to put their best foot forward daily.

Like most, I have been working non-stop and would love a weekend (or more!) to unwind. But more than that, my best friend from college lives about 6 states away from me. With us both working so hard we have been trying to save and take a trip together since we haven’t seen each other since graduating over a year ago. This prize would be so needed for rejuvenation of body, mind, and soul! And who better to stay with than Marriott?! Thanks for this great giveaway!

I feel I could use this getaway as a stress reliever…I am on the verge of being layed off and I have 7 month old baby. I am being proactive for the “just-in-case” but I can’t seem to not stress over it.

Haven’t had a break since 6 months ago thanks to new baby. Would be great to go away somewhere nice, and start introducing the kid to the wonders of the Marriott network. 🙂

This is a great contest- and while I am not a female (obviously), I’m trying to impress my lady friend with this as a s-u-r-p-r-i-s-e. Hook a brotha up! 🙂

I would love to win this prize! I have been working for the last ten years of my life and have never traveled outside of the state I live in. A trip to NY and a stay at the Marriott is what my dreams are made of!

I’m not going to say I deserve anything. I’ve always worked for everything I have. Since I was 14 yrs old I have only taken 1 1/2 yrs off work. That was to stay home with my son after his birth 25 yrs ago. My husband has been laid off 3 times and is currently unemployed again. My youngest son who has 2 diseases (manageable with no cure) just started college which we hope we can afford to keep him there for 4 yrs. I have always worked hard and I would love to enjoy some R & R that I didn’t have to pay for.

I would absolutely LOVE to win this contest! My life has changed greatly in the past two years…and all for the better. I decided to go back to school to pursue my dream career and am now in my final semester. Woo woo!!! 🙂 I’m in love with an amazing man and overall just enjoying my journey. Working two jobs and going to school full-time has been challenging to say the least. There have been some hard times and even when I didn’t know what I would do, I just kept pushing forward. And always, without exception, things have worked out. I truly believe that it’s b/c I am being true to myself. And it is absolutely paying off! Winning this giveaway would be an awesome graduation gift!!!

Deserve is certainly a strong word, but after a summer of taking on helping to raise my niece and nephew permanently with my mom, ending an 8 year relationship (and suffering an incident of abuse as a result), launching a business (www.clutchedandcovered.com), and starting a new semester of grad school, I could certainly use some me time at the Mariott!!

Thanks for offering a great giveaway!!

I’m sending many blessings to all the ladies who posted before and after me. Life will get better!

We wear so many hats while running our households and businesses. As women we have to remember to pamper ourselves and refuel our mind, body and spirit so that we can continue to be a blessing to others. This mini vacation is exactly what we all need!

I just want to get away!
I’m an accessory designer, that would love to travel and be inspired by new surroundings.

This trip would be like a designer retreat for me. I spend about 80% of time on the business aspect of my brand and 20% designing. As they say “fashion is a business”. This get away would allow me more relaxing design time.

I could soak up all the people, places and things that inspire me during the day and then retreat at night. I would cozy up in that plush Marriott bed with tasty room service, a fully steeped cup of tea and a brand new sketch pad.

Traveling can be therapeutic. These three nights would definitely assist with keeping my mind at ease as I continue this journey  building my brand { SIWEL Accessories http://www.ShopSiwel.com } and reaching many goals in this crazy cool industry we love called fashion.

Yes girl, I need this trp!

Hello! My name is Quana, and I would LOVE to win the Grand prize. I think I deserve to win because I am a mother of a toddler who just came out of homelessness yet is still looking for a permanent place to live. Thank god that I was able to find a kind stranger to help me have a place to lay my head, and I cant wait to have my own. A dream that I am excited to someday soon make a reality is to have a clothing brand and share my art form through clothes with other women that have always wanted to look like a Queen while presentable. I cant wait to be successful and show my daughter that anything can happen if you make it happen, and this trip would blow her little mind lol. I really love this blog and thank you for the inspiration you give to so many like myself. I need it!

I’m only 27 years old and I have at least 25 strands of gray hair growing on my head. All of life’s stress is literally starting to age me. I think a mini getaway will ease the pain of plucking my rapidly multiplying gray hairs.

I would love to win so I could stay at a Marriott for a few nights and be able to unwind and relax on one of their properties. Due to the economy, my place of employment has been under great strain. Staff is being asked on a regular basis to stay home when deemed not needed. This is being done in lieu of layoffs at this time. We are afraid of imminent cutbacks. A trip like this would be a way to escape the stress at this time.

Thank you for the chance to win something so fabulous.

I’d love to take my wife away for our 2 year anniversary. In a previous life, I was an executive at a large company and luxury stays were quite frequent but now, both her and I volunteer all our time for a non-profit organization, so vacations tend to be few and far between. Lately she’s been having some health issues due to the stresses of life, so it would be a real treat to be able to have her relax and unwind at a Marriott property.

    Thanks for the opportunity!

I would LOVE to win, because I am a self-employed jewelry designer who has invested all her time and energy into creating statement pieces that make a woman feel good, stand out, and get GREAT Attention. All my blood sweat and tears have gone into my business and a vacation sounds foreign these days, because financially its not feasible. I would LOVE the opportunity to relax in a hotel for a couple days to get out of my home office where I sleep and create all day. This is my LIFE and to step out of it for a couple of days to clear my head would be great, since this is what I do full time and the bills have to get paid! 🙂

I am not a woman but I am trying to take my wife in a weekend getaway. After having a baby in December and another one due in March, my wife deserves a weekend away. She is such a blessing to me and loves on our daughter so well! I would love to surprise her with this!

It would be a blessing to win this prize. The year 2012 brought along with it some highs and lows. Toward the beginning of the year I received a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis that seemed to drop on me out of thin air. As a 27, active, go-getter I never would have thought such a thing would be my story. Despite it all I know I’m blessed and see even the good in my diagnosis. I recently, reached one of my long-term goals of opening my own business. I craft jewelry and accessories by hand. I’m loving the journey of my life and am looking forward to what’s next. It’s been years since I’ve been on vacation and I would be so pleased to win this prize. Thank you for offering this opportunity and your consideration.

I have to return to my hometown to clean up my parents’ home (they passed away recently). Would love to spend three of those nights in a Marriott (of whom they were loyal fans)! Just to relax and exhale.
