Have you ever just looked around and realized how blessed you are to know such cool and inspiring people? That was me, just a few hours ago. Tonight I had the pleasure of attending GREY GOOSE® and UPTOWN Magazine’s “Rising Icons” awards dinner as a guest of one of the blog’s Fly Female Entrepreneurs, Jodie Patterson of Georgia. Held at Gramercy’s lovely Pranna restaurant and bar, the event recognized Jodie and her business partner, Kiara Ellozy; NBC’s Maurice DuBois; and Matt Middleton, Esq. for being highly-respected change agents and influencers in their respective industries.

Being in a room packed from wall-to-wall with classy, positive and progressive people is truly a beautiful thing. Many thanks to Jodie for extending the invitation to celebrate Georgia’s success. This accolade is just one of many, many more to come, ladies. Keep shining!
