Ladies Who Lunch With Latisha Daring
Latisha Daring
If you know me (or my blog), you’re aware of the fact that as a Brooklyn resident, this borough’s entrepreneurial trailblazers hold a special place in my heart. As stated in previous posts, Latisha Daring was one of the first fly female entrepreneurs I met upon relocating from Chicago to Brooklyn in 2001. As the owner of Pieces of Brooklyn, Latisha (along with hubby, Colin) served as BK’s fashion gatekeepers for 10 years with one of the hottest boutiques around.
With the days of managing a storefront behind her, Latisha continues to carry the fashion torch with the re-launch of her clothing line Ashtyn and now, the introduction of her “Ladies Who Lunch” event. Join Latisha and 100 other successful, ambitious and of course, style-savvy women this Sunday at Tribeca Grill Loft from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for an empowering afternoon of lunch and lively discussions. Guest speakers and hot topics include:
Michaela Angela Davis: “The Definition of Success as a Black Woman”
Tanasha Pettigrew: “Moving in Circles of Power and Money & Owning The Room”
Carline Balan: “Creative, Strong Strategies in Marketing and Branding”
Ann Marie Adamson: “The Reality Of Owning a Small Business in NYC”
Billie Causieestko: “How Style Defines Your Power”
Choddie Bryant: “Investments and Building a Strong Portfolio”
Midwin Charles: “Big Dreams That Transition Into Your Passion”
