Outbox Regret?!
Let’s be honest. Have you ever responded to an email based on emotions? Sent a message to your significant other, friend, or professional associate that could be interpreted the wrong way? There’s so much that can be lost in translation when it comes to email…a little bit of frustration can be confused for being seriously pissed off, depending on who’s on the receiving end. I’m sure it’s happened to all of us more than we’d like to admit but the good folks over at Google have us covered.
If you haven’t heard of it yet, Gmail recently introduced the “Undo Send” feature to recall any e-mail that you’ve sent with regret. This latest tweak to their already awesome email technology allows you to reclaim sent mail any time the need should arise. The only caveat is that you can’t just sit around, go on about your business and an hour later, realize that you probably need to recall the message. No way ladies, you’ve got to decide to stay on your toes and decide within five seconds if you want to employ the new “Undo Send” feature.
Soooooo, what are you waiting for? Go on to your Gmail setting to enable the feature ASAP. It happens to the best of us and you know that at some point, you’re going to need a helping hand undoing those embarrasing e-mail gaffes!
