Elle’s New “Blade Runner”

This month, Elle magazine featured celebrity stylist Ursula Stephen, in an interview and highlight of her career. I can’t deny that I was very excited to read this special, because Ursula is not only responsible for Rihanna’s iconic flyness but she is one of the few Black women I’ve seen featured between the pages of Elle!

From her hometown in Brooklyn to Hollywood and beyond, Ursula Stephen has made a name for herself in the industry, working with A-List women such as Keyshia Cole, Michelle Williams (formerly of Destiny’s Child), and Zoe Kravitz.

Let’s applaud Ursula for her budding career and great work — cheers! In Her Shoes wishes this Fly Female Entrepreneur many more years of success.

    Cheers to Ursula!

Glad to see another strong Black woman making strides, and getting recognition for it… cause we all know how Rihanna looked when she first came out!
