The “F” Word

Fear or faith? Fight or flight? Which “F” word describes you the best in a difficult situation? Do you choose faith and fight until you win? Or  do you choose fear and take flight when you hit a roadblock?

Too many of us often pick fear as the answer to any hardship in our lives. We instantly hit a trial in our lives and in less than five seconds of the situation happening we already have 153,459 reasons why the situation will turn out bad. Numerous times looking at the situation running, fear and doubt seems like the best remedy. It’s like being stuck in a room with no windows or door, we can’t see a way out or around. This is where your true character shines through. Are you going to cry, breakdown and sit in a corner or are you going to find a sharp object and start chipping away at the wall to create your own door?

Fear and faith is simply a choice that you make every morning you wake up. You can either choose to feed into the negative side of situation or the positive. With both fear and faith you’re believing in something that is unseen, so why not choose faith.  Taking faith is a discipline that will always be beneficial at the end. It may not always be easy but your faith is the one thing that can catapult you to new heights.  It makes you put on your blinders and lock in to your focus or goal. Waking up everyday knowing all your hard work is not in vain. The most powerful “F” word that anyone can say to you is faith. Embrace it. Use It. Live it. It’s time for faith to replace fear in our everyday actions:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.”
