Shana Renee = All Sports Everything

When you do the math, sports + marketing x fashion = Shana Renee Stephenson. This Empire State native got her love of athletics honest and can talk box scores and stats with the best of them. She’s been trained well — a BA in Psychology and Business from Spelman College and MS in Sports Business from NYU render her no one to play with in her field.

Shana Renee earned her professional stripes styling at Emporio Armani, planning New York Fashion Week runway shows with celebrity designers, marketing at the Worldwide Leader in Sports; ESPN and running her boutique sports marketing company, Marquee Matchups. She’s living proof that women don’t have to be masculine to love the game and hold their own with the guys.

Setting that example for young girls and boys alike, she co-developed a Sports Business curriculum for the Business of Sports School in Manhattan. Designed to hip high school freshmen to career possibilities beyond the bounds of the playing field, the syllabus touches on topics like sports marketing, collective bargaining agreements, endorsement deals, contract negotiations, television rights, and much more.

Through All Sports Everything, she creates a space that lives up to its title; compiling sports relevant content that intersects the realms of current events, business, lifestyle, culture, and beyond. And what better place to do it than the city that sets the bar for elite sports franchises?

Charting the highs and lows of the New York Jets, Knicks, and Yankees, all while blessing the blogosphere may be hard work. Still she finds time to develop her Sports Business curriculum, R.Y.S.E., for a wider orbit and lend her marketing expertise to a select clientele. Her hustle expanding the minds of both seasoned and seminal sports heads is one that can’t be knocked.
