My girl Janice Bond, one of Chi-Town’s finest by way of Houston, will be dropping jewels on artists and entrepreneurship in Brooklyn later this month! Check out the details here from BrooklynMuseum.org:

Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 7 p.m.
Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion, 1st Floor

The first in a series of talks and professional development activities for artists and designers looking to brand, build, and grow their creative enterprises. Does the word “brand” make you think only of slick corporate packaging? How do you “curate” your message effectively while staying true to your beliefs and your work?

Join Janice Bond, a communications, programs, and business development strategist specializing in arts and culture, for the September session, where we’ll explore strategies to present our work, develop co-branding through collaboration, and look at timelines and scheduling to achieve our goals.

Tickets are $15, $30 for the entire three-part series, and are available at www.museumtix.com. Free for Members; call the Membership hotline at (718) 501-6326 or email  to reserve your seat.

As a New York City storyteller, filmmaker, digital content creator, and PR strategist, Renae Bluitt created "In Her Shoes" to empower and enlighten women committed to realizing their dreams.
