From street murals to museums and even subway artists, it’s safe to say that New York City isn’t lacking in the creativity department. While an artist may express him/herself on canvas, many of us choose to demonstrate creativity through fashion. The first thing that comes to mind when most of us think of fashion is apparel but today, I’d like to pay homage to some of the shoe designers who are really taking it there with styles so amazing that you’re forced to do a double take!

While those of us with a shoe addiction already know how gorgeous footwear can be on it’s own; in the hands of today’s most talented designers, even ordinary shoes become works of art. Be inspired!
