In Her Shoes x For Harriet’s “30 Black Women Bloggers You Should Know”

While browsing Facebook this morning (translation: trying to get my Monday started but falling victim to digital distractions), I stumbled upon a post my girl Patrice a.k.a. Afrobella put up a couple hours prior. She was congratulating me and a few other bloggers she knew for being featured in For Harriet’s list of “30 Black Women Bloggers You Should Know.” Such a lovely surprise:

Black women are routinely portrayed as many things, but we are rarely painted as successful entrepreneurs and businesswomen. Renae’s blog began with a narrow focus but has expanded to include a community of aspirational Black women.  If you’re looking for  real life role models, you’ll see Oprah ain’t the only black woman living her dream.
