I AMPLIFY Presents THE EXCHANGE: 8.31.15

It brings me great joy to witness the personal and professional evolution of the women in my world. My fellow Virgo, E. Isis Adewale, has rocked many hats throughout her career including (but not limited to): Senior Manager of Special Events, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation where she worked on one of the foundation’s biggest fundraisers, ART FOR LIFE,  the 2010 launch of Petals-N.Belles, Inc., a New York City based non-profit mentoring organization for young girls and as a consultant, she has worked with clients such as NIKE, ESSENCE, The FOOD Network, Diet Coke, Delta, NBC Universal and South Africa’s Ndalo Media. As if this isn’t enough, the talented Isis has also shared her talents with yours truly, joining forces with me to produce the In Her Shoes annual “The Beauties & Brains Behind the Brands” events in 2014 and 2015.

I’m happy to announce that this magic maker continues to make me proud with the launch of her latest venture, I AMPLIFY. Through this powerful platform, Isis continues to serve business clients and the community at large with a focus on personal development, self-mastery and professional excellence. I AMPLIFY offers a new and novel approach to transformational growth, professional achievement, and corporate and community connectivity. A nexus of voices and perspective, I AMPLIFY inspires individuals to find their footing, create their own magic, clarify their vision and accomplish the unexpected.

Isis’ first project under the I AMPLIFY umbrella is appropriately titled, THE EXCHANGE, a series of intimate, invite-only, discussions that bring together young professionals and scholars, community and industry leaders and cultural influencers. THE EXCHANGE is a trading space for the intellectual currency needed to fuel a more prepared and advanced generation of young men and women.

The first installment of the Exchange, Work Life: In Perspective will explore three topics:

• Navigating The Unknown
• Finding Your Voice
• Transforming Information to Application

Committed to fostering substantial and fruitful discussions, the mission of The Exchange is to allow community and professional leaders to become teachers. By providing insight into, and perspective on some of the obstacles being faced by young scholars and professionals, The Exchange can inspire, teach and cultivate a more prepared and advanced generation of young men and women.
