Giveaway! Little Pink Book Spring into Ownership Event

By  |

Do you ever find yourself questioning if you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur? Has your signature zip, zest, and zeal dwindled down to a constant state of apathy? Join In Her Shoes next Friday, June 17th, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at InterContinental Times Square for the highly anticipated Little Pink Book Spring into Ownership event. Meet hundreds of other fly female entrepreneurs like yourself in an environment designed for networking, building, and growing!

Hear success secrets from women owners on topics like growing their business in this unpredictable economic climate, creatively breaking through the more traditional structures and processes currently in place and finding courage to do what they love. This year’s sponsors and supporters include Porsche, ServCorp, Smirnoff Premium Mixed Malt Drinks, FedEx, Jackson Lewis and Microsoft.

New York City Spring into Ownership guest panelists: Kathleen King, founder, Tate’s Bake Shop, Rebecca Blumenstein, deputy managing editor, Wall Street Journal, and Celeste Gudas, founder and CEO, 24 Seven Inc.

I will be there with iPad in hand, ready to absorb the entrepreneurial energy and wealth of information being shared. Still not sure if you can make it out? Perhaps this can help you make a decision…

As a special offer to In Her Shoes readers, Little Pink Book is gifting two complimentary tickets to next week’s Spring into Ownership event! Leave a comment below briefly stating why you need to attend and two entries will be selected at random. Winners will be announced on Monday, June 13th.

I would love to attend to grow my network of women entrepreneurs in the city. The entrepreneurs I know are all in different markets. It would be great to meet more business owners in NYC. To learn from, and share experiences with service based owners.

My business is in its 3rd year and I’m not seeing the growth I anticipated. Would love to meet other women entrepreneurs who could give some advice on how they’re growing their brands!

I am opening a store in Philadelphia, PA and find that there aren’t as many opportunities for networking and support of this magnitude. I would love to meet other entrepreneurs who are looking to network and also uplift each other, as there is room for everyone to flourish.

    Thank you.

I’ve been thinking about leaving my corporate job for years now. I think it’s time to step out on faith. Attending this event could give me the jolt of confidence I need to live out my dreams!

I am going to try my best not to write a novel here; so to keep it simple, I will just say that I need this. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications in 2004 and just completed an MBA program this past May. However, despite all of that, I am not where I want to be. I am trying to launch my business, Divine Solutions Media Group, but I have no idea how. All I know is that I’m good at what I do. I would love to be around other women that have traveled this road just to learn. Unfortunately, where I live, it’s hard to find help/advice.

So I’m a blogger with big ideas. They’re literally running a muck in my brain space :-). I’m certain that attending this event will help me focus my ideas & energies, nail down the basics of ownership and find the courage to make my dreams a reality.

I would like to attend the event to get re-inspired to re-launch my business as well as learn what it takes to have a sustainable (longevity), successful business in NYC in 2011.

I eat dream live my idea of launching my own business. I am making sure that this year is the year that my dreams come to fruition. I started a baby clothing line in 2009 and because of my business partners lack of effort to move forward I allowed our company to fail. I have entrepreneurship in my blood and i will not allow myself to be held back by anyone. This time i will be launching my cupcake business by myself. I look forward to this year being a year of success for me. I would love to inner act with women who are successful business owners and gain even more inspiration to move forward.

I graduated from college two weeks ago. All the graduation speeches said “take risk” ans so I decided to finally listen to the voice in my head that says I should start this company. I have a great idea but would love the opportunity to meet more people who can help me on this journey!

I’ve been in business for a while now and would love the opportunity to network with other female entrepreneurs. I work so hard that I don’t always have the time to attend events of this nature. I know it’s going to be very inspiring!
