Nana Eyeson-Akiwowo, African Health Now

Join African Health Now (AHN) this Thursday night for FASHION FETE – A two and a half hour shopping event at the Tracy Reese flagship boutique that will include cocktails, remarks from AHN founder Nana Eyeson-Akiwowo, Arise 360 TV Co-Host Lola Ogunnaike and her sister, Glamour.com Style Editor Nikki Ogunnaike, and, of course, shopping! Tracy Reese will offer all attendees 10% off all merchandise plus 10% of all event sales will be donated to African Health Now. Created in 2006, the organization’s focus is to provide information and accessibility to resources through conferences, workshops, health fairs and on-going programs that promote healthy living.

AHN is really honored to host this event with Tracy Reese on the 20th. Being an organization that focuses on empowerment through health resources, partnering with someone like Tracy Reese, who is an example of female empowerment is really wonderful and very inspirational. Currently we are working on our biggest endeavor to date, producing a Dec 1st “Million Condom Giveaway” in Accra, in celebration of World AIDS Day. It will be the first of its kind, three locations throughout Accra, where condoms and health education and resources will be given out for free. Our a goal is to reach a broader scope of Ghanaians that we normally don’t get with our other health fairs.
