Michelle James (MJ) and Danielle M. Brown (Dani), Chief Collaborating Officers/Owners of Cocktails and Cancer, LLC and hosts of the podcast Cocktails and Cancer, understand all too well the sentiment of living your best life.

With a friendship that spans over a decade, MJ and Dani have been through a lot together, but nothing solidified their friendship more than Michelle’s breast cancer diagnosis in 2015. Both with successful careers in media, MJ and Dani launched the Cocktails and Cancer on March 13th to talk all things life and cancer while enjoying a cocktail or two.

The duo believes that podcasts offer an undeniable level of intimacy and suppleness for their audiences and the hosts. Leveraging their professional experience and the power of digital and social media, the creation of their own podcast, provides a platform to share the post cancer diagnosis journey over the past three years with the goal to inspire and empower listeners, create a community of support for anyone touched by the disease and of course…make the word cancer a little less terrifying.
