Check On It
Kindle for iPhone

In today’s hectic world, it’s hard for a fly, focused girl with a demanding schedule to find time to catch up on her reading. My reading list is currently backed up with countless books that I have yet to purchase—let alone read. So, for you busy tech-loving girls like Renae and me, I’ve just found one more reason to always be staring at your iPhone.
The New York Times reports that Amazon.com and Apple have joined forces to create a Kindle for iPhone application that you can download straight from the Apple’s online store. And while I love spending a quiet Saturday afternoon browsing through Borders with a chai tea latte in hand, nothing would be more convenient than reading a book I’ve been putting off straight from my phone on the way to work. For those of you like me who are always caught off guard by a short moment of downtime and no good book handy, your problem is solved.
With the Kindle for iPhone application, you gain access to 240,000 e-books from Amazon.com. And don’t worry about losing your spot when someone interrupts you to complain about how attached you are to your phone, because Amazon can also create automatic book marks so you can pick up right where you left off.
Now, the next time I find myself on a long train ride or a crowded waiting room (like Saturday mornings at the salon), I’ll cozy up to my phone and catch what I’ve been missing. Tony Morrison anyone?
