Today marked the first day of Dana Owens’ (better known as “Queen Latifah”) return to the small screen and guess what? I’m already a fan!  As a woman who rarely sits still enough to watch an entire commercial, I’ve got to admit that I was thoroughly impressed and highly entertained by her premiere episode. With a career that has been nothing short of EPIC, Queen Latifah has been showing us how it’s done since her days of placing “Ladies First” and celebrating “Living Single”.  At the ripe age of 43, she’s equipped to bring the wisdom of an industry veteran balanced with the youthful energy that daytime television is missing. Did I mention that her set was designed by Lenny Kravitz and makeup is being done by none other than Sam Fine?
