Michelle vs. Oprah?

All I can do is shake my head in response to the media’s latest (self-produced) frenzy: Michelle Obama vs. Oprah Winfrey. Are they serious?

Yes, Michelle is taking the world by storm with her intelligence, grace, and impeccable style but there is room at the top for more than one amazing woman (who happens to be black) isn’t there? Why are we comparing apples and oranges anyway? If we  had to compare Michelle to anyone wouldn’t it be a bit more appropriate to compare her to another first lady/lawyer/political leader like Hillary Clinton?

Michelle and Oprah are both very special in their own rights but as far as I’m concerned, strong black women have always had an impact on the global community. What say you?
