Spring has officially sprung! As you shed those unwanted layers and the colors of your clothes lighten up a bit, so will your accessories. This Spring/Summer season is all about shocking hues and versatility, but how will you get the look without breaking the bank or sacrificing style and texture? Well don’t fret! Shekima Francois and Celeste Duncan have you covered. The related duo are the founders of the accessories company, Cousin & Co. Created in 2004, the cousins aim to “compliment the lives of today’s well rounded woman.”  Their collections blend luxe fabrics and hardware while maintaining a price point that won’t set you back on a few bills.

After receiving an exclusive sneak peak at the look book for this season’s collection, we’re more than certain that these bags will be on the wrist, waist, and shoulder of the city’s most stylish. Complete with everything one looks for in a quality bag, the designs are structural while outfitted in studs, gold closures, chain linked cross-body straps and tassels. With a color palette ranging from tangerine to pastels, pinks, and whites, the collection covers every woman from the plain jane to the boldest vixens. My favorite pieces are the Gates Handbag which can carry my laptop and the convertible Ami clutch which can go seamlessly from day to night.
This design pair has dispelled the myth that money and blood don’t mix. In fact, it does and their bags are carrying all of it! Check out more of their looks and get where to buy information at www.cousinandco.com.
