Tori Nichel: Ebay Finalist!

By  |

I just love it when all of the dots connect, don’t you? Back in June I shared information about eBay’s Sellers Challenge. If you missed the post, no worries…click here.

So now that you’ve caught up and know what eBay’s Sellers Challenge is all about, let me take you back even further to one of my first Fly Female Entrepreneurs, the super-talented designer, Miss Tori Nichel (click link for full interview). You remember her, right? She chatted with us about her childhood interests in fashion and how she’s utilized corporate experience to launch her brand. She’s such an inspiration and a beautiful woman both inside and out. Love, love, love to see people like Tori succeed!

I didn’t even realize that Tori was participating in eBay’s Sellers Challenge, but just got wind of the greatest news ever. Our very own Tori Nichel is one of the Challenge’s eight finalists! The finalists, two in each of the four categories were selected based on their perceived business challenges and obstacles, clarity of business plan, passion for using eBay and appropriateness to the contest’s theme. Can you imagine being one of only eight people selected out of countless contestants across the globe?

We’re so proud of you, Tori! SO proud that we’re asking you, our beloved readers, to support Tori as she vies for a $25,000 business grant from eBay, as well as marketing services and support.

As a contemporary clothing designer in New York, Tori is hoping to go global with help from eBay’s Sellers Challenge. If she’s voted as a winner, she plans to open an eBay retail boutique.

Ladies, please cast your votes for Tori Nichel ASAP by clicking hereYou must have an eBay login to vote (and I’m sure we all have that covered). You can vote once per day per category through August 6, 2009. The winners will be announced on August 11, 2009.

We’re rooting for you Tori!
