Yesterday one of my favorite songbirds, the gorgeous, uber-talented, and SUPER funny Alice Smith turned to Kickstarter to raise money for her upcoming album, “SHE.” Raised between Washington, D.C. and a farm in Georgia, Alice has garnered a cult following over the years with the 2006 release of her first LP, “For Lovers, Dreamers, and Me.” Ummmm, can you say instant classic? That album still gets me through some of my most challenging days.

So fast forward to 2012.  After leaving a major label and giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, Alice Smith is ready to share her new work with YOU! All she needs is a little financial backing to bring this project to life. Check out this adorable video as Alice shares why we should support:
