Somi for Vogue!

What do you do when your little sister from another mister is featured in Vogue? You blog about it, of course! Check out the awesome publicity my girl Somi received on Vogue.com. The piece gives the ultimate nod to the songbird’s latest release, “If The Rain Comes First,” and describes the body of work as “An alluring collection of stories encased in a soft and steady rhythm…”

As a woman who’s constantly challenging herself to make a tall refreshing glass of sweet lemonade when handed a few lemons, I was really touched by Somi’s explanation of her album title:

“The title refers to how we perceive the rain, whether as a blessing or a challenge. But it’s really about understanding that, while we don’t have control over the rain, we can control the way we perceive it—a metaphor for so many things in our lives.”
