Singer & Actress LeToya Luckett Headlines “She Prevails” Women’s Conference in Triangle

Actress & Singer, LeToya Luckett will be the keynote speaker for The Prevailing Woman magazine’s inaugural She Prevails Women’s Conference to be held in the Triangle on Aug. 10 and 11. It is sponsored by Coastal Federal Credit Union, PNC Bank, Square, Courvoisier, Aunt Jackie’s Coils and Curls, Urban Skin RX, Eden Body Works, Discover Durham, and PM Fragrances.

The weekend-long event will kick off with a cocktail party hosted by Courvoisier on August 9th at the 21c Museum Hotel. On August 10th the conference will feature workshop sessions; networking lunch; and “She Did That” documentary screening  on August at 21c Hotel Durham on 111 North Corcoran Street. Topics such as professional careers, personal finances, entrepreneurship, self-care and health, beauty, and women’s empowerment will be covered.

On August 11th, an inspirational and high energy brunch with keynote address by LeToya Luckett, live entertainment, as well as women-owned vendors will be the highlights of the conference finale. It will be hosted by The Prevailing Woman magazine’s founder, Sabrina Seymore.

LeToya Luckett is a two-time Grammy Award-winning American R&B singer-songwriter and entrepreneur. She is an original member of the R&B group, Destiny’s Child, and has since pursued a successful solo career, topped the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart.

Luckett has since become an actress. She was the in star several movies and tv series such as Preacher’s Kid and Single Ladies. She currently has a recurring role in the OWN series “Greenleaf” and VH1’s series “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.” You can also download her latest single “Feelings” on any music streaming outlet.
