Mischo Beauty Kicks Off Crowdfunding Campaign via iFundWomen

By  |

Kitiya Mischo King, founder of the luxe, award-winning and eco-conscious cosmetics brand Mischo Beauty, announces the launch of an iFundWomen crowdfunding campaign: #weloveMischo. The 30-day campaign ending on September 30 aims to raise $50,000 to support the research, development and production of a complete, non-toxic nailcare system entitled, “Repair, Polish, Protect, Remove, Repeat.

Expanding on the brand’s reach in the clean beauty segment, the new products — which includes a non-toxic Gel Finish Top Coat — introduce healthier alternatives to the most sought-after nail trends of today. According to a recent Forbes report, black women represent the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in America. However, current statistics reveal they only receive about 0.2% of venture capital investments, with women overall receiving 2.5%. In light of this news, King chose to launch #weloveMischo via iFundWomen because of the organization’s mission to increase access to capital for female-led businesses.

“Many hurdles have challenged me to think differently — more creatively — about the route and methods necessary to achieve my goals and uphold my vision,” King states.
