Mara Brock Akil: TIME 100 Poll Nominee

It’s that time of the year again! Time Magazine is shining light on leaders, artists, innovators, icons and heroes that are considered to be the most influential people in the world. Yes, the WORLD. I’m happy to announce that our very own fly female entrepreneur, the oh-so-lovely Mrs. Mara Brock Akil, is one of the nominees!

Many of you know Mara’s work from The Game and Girlfriends but did you know that she got her start as a writer for some of our favorite 90’s sitcoms like The Jamie Foxx Show and Moesha? In addition to all of her impressive work in the television industry, Mara is a loving wife and mother of two. As the ultimate fly female entrepreneur, Mara rocks many hats and should most definitely be applauded for all of her amazing talent!
